Twin Pads connection
How to connect your Twin Pads in 5 steps :
- Turn on the Switch™ console and select “System Settings” from the menu.
- Then select the “Flight Mode” and make sure that “Controller Connection (Bluetooth)” is enabled. If not, activate it on “Yes”.
- In the “Home” menu, select “Controllers” and then “Change style/order”.
- Hold down the “Mode” button (black Twin Pads) / the Home and Capture buttons (coloured Twin Pads) on the pads for 4-5 seconds. The 4 LEDs flash quickly intermittently and the controller goes into synchronization mode.
- follow the instructions on the console screen and keep pressing the L/R shoulder buttons repeatedly until both controllers appear.
Your pads are now synchronized and functional on your console, press A to exit the menu.
You can also configure each Pad as a separate controller by using the SR/SL buttons on the side instead.

Procedure (one Pad at a time)
- Use the USB cable to plug one of the controllers in your computer.
- Hold the SR button of the controlleruntil LED 4 (the one closer to the ‘’Mode’’ button) starts blinking. Once recognized, the LED will stop blinking and stay on.
- Check the ‘’Devices and printers’’ tab on your computer (Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers). The device will be displayed under the name “PC/PS3/Android Gamepad”.
- Open the software update file (BM_firmware_update.exe) and press the Start button - Windows may warn you that the file in not secure, you can click "see more details" and "execute anyway" to proceed anyway.
- Wait for the ‘’Download Successful’’ message for an update confirmation.
- Unplug the controller.
Repeat steps 1 to 6 for the other controller.

Procedure (one Pad at a time)
- Hold down the 3D joystick of one of the controllers. LED 1 and 3 (refer to the instruction manual) will start blinking for about 3 seconds and turn off.
- Use the USB cable (provided with the controllers) to plug the controller in your computer.
- Check the ‘’Devices and printers’’ tab on your computer (Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers). The device will be displayed under the name “BR22”.
- Open the Colorful_TP_Firmware_Update folder and run the update file (Switch_1127_fw.exe).
- Check for the ‘’Online’’ mark next to the ‘’Device Status’’ to ensure that the controller is detected.
- Click on the ‘’OPEN’’ button and go to the Colorful_TP_Firmware_Update folder and select the folder corresponding to the color of your controller.
- Open the *_Left.jocn file for the left-hand controller or
- *_Right.jocn for the right-hand controller.
- Click on ‘’DOWNLOAD’’ and wait for the ‘’SUCCESS’’ message on the download bar to make sure that the update was successful.
- Unplug the controller.
Repeat steps 1 to 8 for the other controller.
